I'll tell you in a couple months. I have my LT1 intake now and am beginning the mod process as we speak. I will be taking it pretty slow though as I am a full time student and took a pretty decent load this semester. I don't forsee any problems in getting it to run decent and behave nicely with some minimal PROM tuning...... Getting 100% of the power out of the combo will likely be a little bit of a different story...... MAF systems are pretty forgiving and are not very hard to work with when adapting them to different setups (withing reasonable limits of course). Unfortunately there is always a hand off of some kind and there certainly would be more power, and possibly better driveability, with a properly tuned custom (read: many moons of PROM tuning and burning) PROM in a SD system on this kind of setup.......

a friend has a '95 LT1 in a 1987 442 (originally CCC 307 V8)
It is a smooth, fast car, doesn't feel as fast as a TPI L98, but is definitely faster. Only mods really are a K&N on the drivers side, and the power programmer has it set for 3.73's
We're putting a fuel pump in it today.
edit: Oops, you probably meant LT1 intake huh?
