flooding issues

so my lb9 stalls from time to time while in gear at the light (only when warm) from others threads its the iac valve well after running to the store to pick up the new one and bringing it home it stalls again starts up just fine as normal then idles super weird around 850rpms but is jumpy up and down 200 rpms while on throttle normal idle does that jumpy thing get home change the iac then go to start in the morning and cranks no start so i leave it for a few days then come back pull number 1 plug and it smells of fuel what would be causing the flooding? injectors? it dumping fuel from old iac? i did have the egr ses light im not sure if that plays into this any help would be great

Re: flooding issues

Have you checked fuel pressure drop after prime ?
You can also ohm them when warm to see if a coil is failing or do a balance test.

You might be running rich for other reasons. Any check engine light ?

Re: flooding issues

the ses lights i got were 45 and 53 i know the first is rich which could smell while driving/idle but 53 my guess is the egr is getting stuck open and no i have not checked fuel press i havent been able to get it started back up but when i get a chance tonight or tomorrow i will check ohms on injectors that was my next step i just didnt know if it could be something else causing it to flood itself like that

Re: flooding issues

You might have a bad ecm, I would start with the charging system first.
