Faulty MAF sensor
Faulty MAF sensor
I ordered a new MAF sensor from an online site (mechanic recommended). After less than 1 month it failed. The site says I either need to order another one and once it comes send the bad one back for a refund, or I can send the old one back now and they send a new one once they receive it. I don't have another $100 to drop on a new one. Can I drive without the MAF sensor until they send a new one (takes about 3 days to receive once they ship).

You "can" drive it, I wouldn't if you don't -NEED- to.

Re: Faulty MAF sensor
I parts-cannoned for a while thinking the problem was the MAF.
Turned out to be the ECU.
