low oil pressure

Hello everyone, I have a 86 trans am 305 v8 tpi and for some reason i'm getting low oil pressure. I changed out the oil pressure switch to see if that would make a difference but it did not do a thing. Any suggestions or advice would be awesome! Thanks guys!

Re: low oil pressure

gotta find out for sure what the pressure ACTUALLY is. I know there's a port on the back china wall....not sure how convenient that is just for test purposes. But don't go by the stock gauge.

Re: low oil pressure

What is the oil pressure you are showing?
When are you getting low pressure? Idle? Hot? cruse? Braking?
