The car runs really good most of the time but it seems like when it really gets warmed up and I kill it and go to start it it starts idling really rough the check engine light comes on and the whole car shakes and so I have to kill the car. Then when I restart it sometimes it’ll start right up and run good and sometimes it’ll start shaking again. The oil pressure gauge goes crazy when the car runs like that and the whole engine just shakes. I just got the car yesterday so this is new to me however I’ve had many third gens before. I unplugged the maf and it acted the same. Car has 111k miles. It does heat up pretty good when driving but never over the middle mark however when I pop the hood it seems hotter.

 

What error code are you getting ?

 

Oddly enough no check engine comes on... it smokes right when I first start it, like it is running rich. Plus it burns through the gas pretty good. Seems like the engine runs a bit rough as well.
