Help! Trying But Cannot Remove Plenum!

I'm trying to remove plenum to port it...don't sound too tuff. However, I,ve removed all runner bolts on top and all but 2 on bottom of runners...injectors in the way, how do you get to them:? Also, if I want to port ONLY the plenum, not the runners, should'nt the plenum alone come off with just top plenum to runner bolts removed anyway? ?????????????????????????????

There are two bolt on each side on the bottom that go in from the opposite side as the rest. The plenum will not come off without loosening all of the bottom bolts. on the passenger side the bolt coming from the opposite side is in the front and on the drivers side it is in the back.

The plenum can be removed without loosing the runners. Once all bolts are taken out of the plenum, tap the plenum with a rubber or plastic hammer. That should do the trick. If the plenum has never been off, over time the gaskets almost glue themselves to the aluminum.

When i don't loosen the runners it seems to scrape the gaskets up pretty good when reinstalling.

I agree with BP. Loosen ALL of the runner bolts, or you will probably end up ruining your gaskets when putting everything back together.
