trick flow heads
wich head is better the 23 degree or the twisted wedge g2? the g2 is compared to a l98 vette.
no direct experience but....
I dont have any direct experience but I believe that running the twisted wedge head often causes problems due to its funky valve repositioning, which sometimes can neccesitate needing new pistons with valve releifs. If anyone else has anything to say on this front that has these heads I'll freely admit that I'm wrong. As I've said this is just what I've heard others say. Later.

I can tell you the G2's (I have them) will need custom length pushrods (+.100") to keep rocker geometry correct.

from what i've seen, the twisted wedge heads outperform the 23* heads by a mile. If you can get them to work they are really great. There are plenty of people that i've seen running 110mph+ trap speed with the twisted wedge G1s. The G2s are supposed to be just as good with less or no valvetrain pobs.
I havn't seen anything close to that from 23* heads.
Also, if you plan on running alot of lift, (.510+ I think) you will need to fly cut your pistons or run the trick flow piston for thier twisted wedge heads.

The flow tests ive read show the TW heads flow a little better out of the box. Both heads make good power though. They make as much power as the Afrs and cost alot less. With only 20*of timing on pump gas my 406 with the 23* heads made 306.5 rwh and 419 lbs rwt.
