I know some cars you can actually plug a labtop into the car so you can get all kinds of readings and graphs and whatnot. I was wondering if there was such thing for a TPI f-body. It would really help by analyzing charts after making a run. That would be awesome. Anyone heard of this? Thanks.

I'm not sure on an 84' but on the rest there is an outlet right above your right knee when you are driving, alittle below the dash. There should be a little black panel, just pop it off and you'll see the outlet.

Yes, most definietly. There's Diacom, and Craig Moates free software for TPI to hook right into the ALDL port once you have a laptop.

They're great tools for tuning the car through DIY prom burning, or just for diagnostic purposes. Its also kinda the reason there's a DIY Prom board here.

You've asked a "tip-of-the-iceburg" question here, so my response was very general. Hope that's a start for you
