Hi everyone,

I ran into a couple of issues on my 91 Z28. The biggest one is there is this loud clanking sound under the car on the passenger side when the car is turning over. I’ll immediately stop, try again and the it seems to correct itself and starts up. Thoughts?

Second issue is the service engine soon light comes on after being on the highway for a bit. Still runs great, and goes away after I restart the car. I know both cats need replacement so maybe that’s it?

I had the O2 sensor, plugs and wires this past week and the distributor is still working great.

 

I bet your starter is loose. I would check it.
