Looking for Best OEM size replacement 19 lb. Injectors 91 LB9

I've got a 91 formula 305 TPI that the po put 24 lb injectors in so it runs way too rich and stalls. It has no other mods and is completely stock exept for the incorrect size injectors. It should have 19 lb injectors. Any recommended models/brands? Looking into buying bosch II 19lb off of south bay injectors, is that a good option? I want it to run as stock as possible since I want a baseline and to get it running as perfect as possible stock. Thanks for any answers!

Re: Looking for Best OEM size replacement 19 lb. Injectors 91 LB9

When my black '89 hardtop's factory Multecs went south, I was still able to buy new Bosch 19# injectors, like the ones used from '85-'88. When I got my '89 convertible a few years ago, they also had 24# injectors. I was able to find an original set of rebuilt Bosch 19 pounders, ('85--'88) on ebay. Other folks may have other suggestions.

i think I have a set of 85 19#hr but I’d recommend servicing. Or Delphi’s and plug and play.
with the d3 just change voltage offsets in the tune works well but there kinda noisy .

If you want the "best" replacements, I would vote Delphi

I have Bosch 3s, and after I got my EBL and started tuning, all is well now. They are noisy, but I have a blower that covers up the noise. Bosch injectors are fine if you tune for them.

Thanks for the answers everyone! Any of these straight replacements? I don't want to have to tune or anything like that just swap them in. I just want them to run stock. Can I just throw in some Bosh 2s and call it a day l?

I called southbay and told them stock for my 89 formula 350 and they sent them. Dropped then right in. That's all I did!

Bosch Design III's are (very) loud and require tuning for *proper* operation. Get Dephi's if you want drop-in injectors that will work like the originals and not require any tuning. They will run like GM intended.

I also recommend the Southbay Injectors. Also, let them know you are a Thridgen.org member, and you will get a discount. It helps with shipping.
