putting back factory throttle body for better MPG?
If I have a 10.25:1 383 stroker, could I put back the factory throttle body and smaller injectors to get better MPG? I know I'll be cutting my power in half, but I really only cruise the car. Just wondering if reducing air and fuel would cause running issues or detonation issues.

Tpi ? Stock 48mm throttle body won’t effect fuel economy. You can see air fuel ratio with a wideband.
dont want to lean out to much. If tune is safe make sure hwy mode is enabled.

One thing that I see is that you are running a 700R4 non lockup. Running a non lockup torque converter will cause reduced gas mileage. I agree with Tuned that you should look at running a wide band O2 and see your A/F ratio. Also read your spark plugs to see if the motor is running rich or lean. Good Luck.

This isn't the factory 700r4, it's a art carr unit.
