tpi swap car periodicly wont rev when driving
hey guys so i have this weird problem first let me say i swapped a 85 tpi complete engine and trans into a 55 chevy truck. truck is barely driven. truck runs and drives fine but here is the issue
sometimes when taking off from a red light at normal throttle it will get to about 30 mph and then just bogg down. it will have no throttle response at all, i can pull truck off to side of road and it can sit there idling but wont rev up. i can still hear fuel pump pumping and inj clicking but it will not rev. if i turn it off and turn it on it will be fine. if you are cruising down the freeway it has never done it, but if im getting off a exit and had to slow down then give it gas to get on street it will do it, again it will stay idling for how long as it want it to it just wont rev untill you turn off and back on again. since this is a swap i have no cel and i dont think the conector to scan it is working
i have changed the tps and checked .54 volts and that made no difference
i can drive down a bumpy road and it dosent do it so its not a loose wire issue or anything, and it only does it when you are accelerating from a slow speed or dead stop and it does not do it all the time
also if i floor it from red light i have not had it do it to me when giving it lots of gas only when driving normal
and it has a full tank of fuel so i dont think any air pockets are getting into the pump

thats what i thought but fuel pressure stays right around 40 psi
i was able to hook up a dummy light for the check engine and im gettign codes 22 and 33
tps sensor is getting the correct 5 volts and set at .54 output at idle, i had a voltmeter hooked up inside truck and when problem happened no change in voltage
could the maf be screwing up, seeing that its a 85 its a 1 year only and i cant unhook it and drive, truck actually sounds close to whats happining when its unhooked it idles but wont rev and backfires
also i drove the hell out of it today, if you drive very soft on pedal, like 20% or less it wont do it, also if you are hard on it 75% or more it wont do it, but if you drive half throtle it does it every time when you take off from a stop, i can get to abotu 35 mph and then it boggs down and i have to restart it
