TPI or FITech setup?

So I managed to buy back my old 92 Firebird that I sold about 15 years ago. It was an original 305 TBI car that a "friend" of mine hacked on a TPI setup onto the 355 we built for it. It never ran right and I got fed up and sold the car. Well, the guy I sold it to couldn't get it straight either so he installed a carb and got it running good. I would really prefer the car to be fuel injected. Do you think I should go with trying to put a TPI back on the car or should I install the GoEFI 4 600hp system I have sitting up in my attic? Car is an automatic but I plan on swapping to a T56 at some point.

It is a fairly mild 350, flat tappet engine with L98 heads.

Re: TPI or FITech setup?

If it runs good carbureted just leave it. But if you must tinker, put the FiTech on it.
