Bypassing the VATS system

Hey guys,
the iroc would not turn over tonight pretty sure its that damn VATS

, anyway can anyone tell me how to bypass it, it is on a 1989 350 tpi (if that makes any difference)

Axle/Gears: 3.27 9-bolt

The proper way to do it is to turn it off in your PROM. Do you know anyone who can do that for you?

no I do not know anyone who can do that, unless a performance shop would, but most of the shops i talked to said they do not do prom work

Do the IROCS have the Security light like the Firebirds? If my VATS kicks on *only happened twice* it is dead, just the 'Security' light comes on, wont crank the starter.
