Bypassing the VATS system

Hey guys,
the iroc would not turn over tonight pretty sure its that damn VATS , anyway can anyone tell me how to bypass it, it is on a 1989 350 tpi (if that makes any difference)

The proper way to do it is to turn it off in your PROM. Do you know anyone who can do that for you?

no I do not know anyone who can do that, unless a performance shop would, but most of the shops i talked to said they do not do prom work

Do the IROCS have the Security light like the Firebirds? If my VATS kicks on *only happened twice* it is dead, just the 'Security' light comes on, wont crank the starter.
