Idle and starting problems
Idle and starting problems
I have a 383 with a minivan TPI setup in 62 Impala. Has a mild cam with long tube headers. I have a stock throttle body. I have had it data logged. The problem is when I start it I have to give some throttle before it will start, then it acts like it come up hard when it turns over. Then when it starts it will idle around 600 rpms. Then when i drive it for awhile and stop its idleing around 1500 rpms. Sorry if this has already been dicussed. Anybody have any ideas.

Minivan, darn spell check. The cam is a lunati roller @.050 232/242. LSA/ICL 110/106. I have 25 lb. Injectors at 45 psi. It's a MAF setup. I have had it data logged. Runs good but starts hard. I dont know if it's coming up hard because I have to give it throttle to start it, maybe loading up.

Not sure the mask guessing $6e tps is .14-.22 . Set minimum idle speed and tps .54vdc
