Hot start 91 z28

Hi guys I have a all stock 91 Z28 305 5 Speed. I went to go pull it out for the summer and having some issues with it after it warms off. I've replaced all the CTS Sensors, dizzy and ignition module. New fuel filter and drained the bad gas. The car cold starts fine. It runs and warms up. Fans come on etc. Once I shut it off warm it won't restart. It'll crank no starter issues or battery issue. It won't fire up until it cools off again. Sort of at a loss of where to look next. Any help would be appreciated

Ohm the injectors if multec replace just as preventative maintenance.

Re: Hot start 91 z28

Yes, I'd look at injectors. I had this exact issue, as well as many of us here. The stock Multec injectors go bad over time and well....2021 soooo, lol. We typically don't recommend just throwing money at a problem, but in this case, it's so common, I'd replace the injectors regardless. If they're not the problem today, they'll be the problem tomorrow. Check out the board sponsor Southbay Injectors. Countless members have had good success. I recommend just giving them a call. Sometimes easier than trying to choose off the website. They have great customer service.

Yup, ohm the injectors to confirm the issue. Do it with a cold engine first, then warm it up and try again. Should be pretty obvious which ones are failing.

I reccomend going with the more expensive Delphi injectors from Southbay. Works great with stock ecu, just plug and play. I had the same hot start issue and injectors fixed it.
