Blinging up the TPI
Blinging up the TPI
Coming from my previous bird which was a very simple carb setup and chrome everything, the TPI engine bay looks a right mess. What can be done to clean it up and bling it out a bit? Are there any emissions parts that can be removed without causing running issues? Does anyone on here have pictures of a cleaned up TPI setup? TIA

Some things that cleaned up my engine bay a lot were removing the windshield washer tank and pump, and painting my old, yellow-stained coolant reservoir. A good cleaning goes a long way too!

I think the duplicolor metalcast base coat / dyed clearcoat comes out nice if you are careful. It holds up to heat well but being rattle can it scratches easy. That's what I did on mine you can look up here.
