1988 5.7 IROC IAT Sensor??

1988 5.7 IROC IAT Sensor??
This sensor that is located on the intake snorkel... it has nothing connected to it. I didn't see any connector from the wiring harness. I just purchased this car so I'm not familiar with it. Is there supposed to be Intake air sensor at this location?? Or is the intake snorkel from a later year car?

V6 air filter lid, tpi mat is under the plenum.

Don’t worry about it, the air filter lid is from a v6
