2 different fpr diaphragms

So the black one is the new AC delco one rock auto sent me and the other is a random brand that's seemingly defective which was in the car for 2 and a bit years until recently. The old one I took out a little over 2 years ago (as far as I know original factory one) diaphragm looks the same as the random brand one. As the pics show the new one from rock auto looks completely different on the top, hasn't got the 4 little notches around the inner edge and doesn't have a beveled edge like the old one.
Does anyone know why there are differences and will I run into any issues with this new one ?
Thanks for any help!
