1985 maf help please

i am beyond baffled, ready to give up and i hope someone out there can help me. i have a 85 trans am, the bosch maf was starting to go bad so i ordered a new delphi one. yes i ordered the correct one for 85 only. it runs but when its cold it runs like crap and stalls out, after it warms up it drives fine. i figured it was just a bad maf so i went with a different company and it has the same results. now my buddy has a 85 and i borrowed his maf and my car runs fine just like its supposed to. his is a bosch as well. so i ordered a bosh with his part numbers he had on his as a third maf and im back to the same problem i had before. so im not sure if they just arnt building them right anymore, so my question is does anyone out there have a 85 maf that is known to work they are willing to sell, or a part number for a known working one, ive orderd ones off rock auto and orileys but can not get one to work correct

Re: 1985 maf help please

I’ve got a couple 85 MAFs,… it’s been several years since I’ve had an 85 TPI to plug them into.
