Thermostat access

I am having trouble removing the thermostat housing studs on my TPI GTA. Do I have to remove the throttle boddie? Thanks

I didn't have to, I used an open end wrench to get em. then once you get it loose you just have to fish it outta there.

problem is that the stud is hitting the throttle body keeping it from coming all the way out. ?????

Removing the TB really is the least aggravating way to go about it.

Careful on reinstall, there's a small line underneath.
