Look for a Well's MAF, 750cfm and only one screen and not the hot wire system. Also cheaper, about $180 New.

If the Wells is not the hot wire system, would it still work with my car? Or any 3rd gen for that matter? Or just certain years?

The Well's MAF works as a direct replacement of the hot wire Bosch MAF. Run a seach on this TPI Board for more details.

Ha ha. Just bought one from Hawk's on e-bay for $53. Too bad it doesn't work. I'm still waiting to see how they will resolve this. A lot of folks around here say they're straight shooters so I'll have to see.

They also have a lifetime warranty, as opposed to the Bosch or AC Delco which only have a one year warranty. The cheapest place to buy it is probably from World Discount Auto Parts, http://www.wdautoparts.com/ or you can call them, at 1 (800) 288-6728. Good luck
