L98 TPI Oil dipstick tube has cracked...replacement?

I have slight problem that I'm hoping TPI owners can help me out with. The oil dipstick tube is cracked on my 5.7L L98 TPI engine and I've been unable to find an OEM replacement. It seems that they've been discontinued. Has anyone else had this problem and are alternative dipstick tubes that will work? I'm wondering if the dipstick tubes from the 93 LT1 V8, still available, will work?

Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

I am also in need of one. Others in group say one for the gm ZZ4 (I may be wrong on engine designation) engine will work but looks like it will need the dipstick that matches it (different top end opening and maybe longer or shorter than what you are replacing). See pic attached and Summit part # is :

Re: L98 TPI Oil dipstick tube has cracked...replacement?

When I did my TPI conversion on my 87 Monte Carlo SS, I re-used the stock 305 Monte Carlo Carbed dip stick. It works fine. The engine is a Goodwrench 350 that I installed TPI, alum heads and headers on. I know that Camaro and Monte Carlo exhaust manifolds are different but the differences are not major. Many Chevy motors have the dip stick on the PS. There are many aftermarket companies that sell Chevy PS dip sticks, but many are chrome. But keep looking and you may find something more like stock. Try Speedway Motors and Ebay Motors.
