I smell...gas!?

After my car's been running for awhile I smell gas when I'm getting out, but nothing's leaking underneath..what's with this, and is it harmful to the car in anyway?

Check your injectors. The rubber o-ring on the top and bottom of each injector. Anyone of them could be leaking a little bit. Also check your fuel pressure regulator, take the vaccume line off and see if any gas comes out of it, if it does, its bad. Hope that helps.

I have a problem with my car, the gas tank filer tube has loosened from the tank, allowing small amounts of gas to seep out, along with vapours, not enough gas to leave on the ground, but enough to smell it. Is the smell coming from the front or back? Try and wiggling your filler tube around, if it wiggles considerably, then that is your problem. I plan on getting mine fixed before I put the car back on the road. 200bux labour, and 100bux repair (i hope) that is in canadian dollars.
