First mods, 87GTA

First off, I'd like to say hello as im pretty new to this board.
Im going to be getting my GTA in a couple of days , and im already thinking about what I can do with it. Its a 5.7 A4, and the previous owner rebuilt the motor, ported the heads, and added some sort of crane cam (still have to get specs).
What are the "free mods" that I can do?
I also definitely think I should free up the stock exhaust, maybe with some cheap (Dynomax?) headers and a flowmaster. Does dynomax make a headers with A.I.R? Would an inline pump be worth it, or maybe some kind of homemade CAI? What else can I do to quicken up this beauty, without spending too much?

Catback for sure if it doesn't have one already. Made a huge difference on mine.

The exhaust is the biggest restriction. Make sure you get a hi-flo cat as well. Next I'd do a CAI...either buy one or make your own. While you're doing the CAI...get the airfoil put on, that way you won't ever wonder if it'll increase performance. Some of you know what I'm talking about.

Do a major tune up...that always helps.
