What about using a crank trigger instead of a distributor...then I can still use the OEM EGR mounts right? I just dont know anything about crank triggers and if it will fit with my Procharger belts.

Axle/Gears: 8.8 rear, 4.56 gears, 4:1 transfer
You can get a distributor-less ignition system for around $2000. Then you could keep the EGR.
