:hail:

I was thinking about grabing some 24# injectors from a junked 4th gen engine.

I have a 350 with your basic heads,exaust,cam,ect ect...

but the intake manifold up are stock 85 tpi...meaning 19# injectors correct?

I would like to know what I should do to upgrade properly....

looking for the ponys...

the block is a 91 350 out of a 91 Z71...bored over to 355

any info you have is greatly apreciated.

Since the L98 350 Tpi wasn't introduced until '86, yes the '85 Tpi would have 19# injectors. The L98 350 Tpi engines had 21# injectors so if you plan to run 24# injectors you will need a custom chip to get max performance. I'm running 24# injectors with a stage 2 aftermarket chip that's still programmed for 21# injectors and with my adjustable fuel pressure regulator I can adjust my fuel pressure accordingly so I'm not running rich. Also the '85 ECM was a '160 ECM and was slow from what I hear. Most people usually upgrade those to an '86 or later ECM.
