it's less work, cheaper, and just as effective as a miniram if you go through this site:

Less work than a miniram??? Not so sure about that. The miniram will bolt right up. LT1 intake requires a good bit of work for the bolt holes, distributor hole, etc. But cost wise, you can't beat a modified LT1/4 intake. The miniram is a rip off.

It's just as easy but it's less work to mod the intake if you let John mod it

and still cheaper if you go through www.lt1intake.com .

too bad I live in CA and have to pass visual smog inspections.

What about flow/horsepower? Wasnt the LT1 intake designed for a 285/305 horsepower engine? Miniram for a 400+ horsepower?

There are people running 10's on unported LT1 intakes. Chances are it'll take you where you want to go. Later.

Oh well i guess it is just about as easy if you have John modify it. Remember though you still have to mount the remote theremostat housing and do some minor clearancing on the accessory brackets. That shouldn't really be a problem for anyone though.
