What serpentine belt does your L98 take?

I recently tried to purchase a serpentine belt for my 92 Formula 350. All parts stores show a part number of 5060945, which is too long. The original is a 060923, which is considerably shorter. What did it come with factory? I'm trying to figure out if I have some sort of aftermarket pullies. Thanks.

Goodyear's numbering system: A BB CCC D

For sample part # 4060580:

A: Gatorback poly-v= 4
BB: # of ribs= 06
CCC: inches= 058
D: tenths= 0

So the Goodyear part number you want is 4 06 058 0. Take a look at Goodyear's website and see if you can find a dealer nearby:

http://www.goodyear.com/us/beltnhos/...buy/index.html

Looking at your two part #s, the part store piece is 94.5" whereas your was probably 92.3"...as you said, the replacement part is longer than your factory piece. Go shopping for a 92" 6-groove belt and you're in business.

Yeah, IROCKANDROLL is right, I'm not the Ebay guy. I just moved here from Tacoma about 3 months ago. I did however sell a leather wrapped steering wheel for an 87 IROC on Ebay....But my Ebay name is bfaulguy@aol.com. Anyone else have an idea why all the parts stores I go to here specify a much longer belt for my car than what it takes??
