Aside of trivial things that can affect it, the computer. The program on the chip has control over it for the most part. If you want to change it, thats the correct way to do it. You can lie to the engine and raise or lower the fuel pressure, which will affect the A/F ratio at WOT, but it will force the computer to make adjustments at part throttle that it ideally and normally wouldnt.

nothing controls AFR at WOT. when the computer senses WOT, the injectors stay open until a less than WOT condition returns in which the O2 sensor will take over control again. almost like open loop mode with more aggresive timing. whatever your chip has programed for WOT, timing etc. is what you get. if your experiencing a slightly lean condition you could bump the FP to help. if you have some serious mods your gonna need a new chip and larger injectors
