Afpr ?
Afpr ?
I just installed a Holley AFPR and I set it to 46 PSI(stock was at 42 PSI). I drove it around and felt like it pulls a little harder so I was happy. But when I went to drive it later it had a hard time starting. I hope this isn't a sign of my fuel pump going out. Should I just lower the pressure?
Fuel pressure setting......
I have a problem similar that started when I installed the AFPR. I since have diagnosed it to be a sticking injector. Higher fuel pressure tends to clog old injectors.
Mine have 160,000 miles on them. I'm having them rebuilt and balanced.
A sure way to tell if yours are sticking is to take off the intake duct and open the throttle body with the car not running. Listen for the fuel bleeding off..... you will hear it if one of them are sticking. :lala:

Just by raising your fuel pressure you are not going to increase performance. I actually had to lower mine to pick up performance. I am running at about 34 or so and mine pulls harder than ever. We actually ran a scan tool to see exactly how well my car would be running at what fuel pressure.
