MAF codes dispite changing everything under the hood!!!

My GTA was throwing a code 36, along with the occasional code 34.

To get rid of the code 36, first I replaced the battery, then the burnoff relay, then finally the MAF.

Still had a 34 though.

I replaced the MAF relay yesterday and I was code-free for the first time since I bought the car.

It lasted a day. Tonight it popped a code 33 on the way home.

Now that I've got new relays, and a new MAF, and the wiring appears to be ok (I haven't done a continuity check yet), what should I be looking for?

Check the minimum air and TPS setting. Try dropping the TPS setting below the .45v mark if its not already there.

MAF codes

You might try checking your VSS sensor. When I was working all the roddents out of my project truck w/ a 385 tpi I did not have a VSS set up in my system. For almost a year I chased all sorts of intermittent problems and most wore MAF related. I ended up buying a VSS sensor kit fom Street and Performance. After I reset my initial idle I have been problem free for 60,000 miles. Just a thought! Hope you get it figured out.
