58mm T.B. too big?

I just finished my 355 and am getting ready to buy a new throttle body. I need a 52mm, but within the next year or so I'll be stepping up to a combo that will need a 58mm.

If I buy a 58mm now, even though I don't need it, how will it effect my performance, good, bad, or not at all?

I hate to spend $300 twice on the same thing.

I don't think you will need a 58 mm next year either. Unless you are going super radical. I think the stock one can flow like 800 cfm. You won't need more than that

The stock (48mm) TB is good for into mid 13s. 52s seem to be plenty for up to around a mid 12 second car. Past that and you might as well run a 58.
