Iron L98 heads.. What is the chamber volume?

Has anyone actually measured the chamber volume of the L98 iron heads? I have a set from a 88 GTA to put on my 350TBI truck and every thing I have read says 64cc. Looking at the chambers I can tell they are definately not 64cc (casting#14101083). They look to be 70-76cc open chamber design. I am trying to select the correct piston to achieve a 8.8-9.0:1 CR and need this information.

Thanks in advance
Lonnie

if they really are from a L98 GTA, they are 64cc, unless someone took a grinder to them to lower compression. there are iron 85-early 86 corvette heads that are 76cc, but i would only use those heads as paperwieghts.
