You could be right, that is just what people have put up on the board here, although a lot of it is BS. I just thought mine wouled be around 100 or so. I recently purchased SLP runners, and I plan on porting my plenum. I also now have a 3.42 gear and lots of suspension goodes. Will these things get me there? Thanks.

You think your MPH is low, get a load of mine for my ET lol. Im trying to figure it out as well and I know some of it is due to better 60fts. Ive trapped as high as 100.8 MPH back when the car had less miles and less mods on street tires but Id say 97-99 was the norm. Now I could bet the ranch if I spin or dead hook I run 94.x MPH and if I hook Ill run mid 13s all day long...

Everybody's cars are in a differnent state of tune, altitude, weather conditions, track variances.
From what I've seen the avarage stock L98 mph is around 93. Some do get pretty high, I've seen some 97s and some low 90s.
There are too many variables to base your car to them.
My car is another good example. With what I have on it, it SHould be capable of running close to 110. But I only get 105. It's just cause the engine isn't tuned perfect, and still has some restrictive parts on it. Bad headers, slipping tranny etc.
Plus the track I now race at traps 3 mph slower than the last one I went too. If I would run there, I'd hit 108.
Also keep in mind that many people's perception of "stock" means they havn't put anything on the car. But they don't mention all the free mods they might have done, wich can really add some power.

I totally agree with 87-Fake-IROC,its very hard to compare times from different tracks, state etc.my best MPH is 102.7 and thats going through in 4th!! 3:73 and basically stock TPI dont get along well.Leaving it in 3rd it hits 101 or so @5200 in the lights. What smoke me is my 2.16-2.2 60's LOL.
