polishing runners

hey i wanna polish my runners to mkaethem nice and shiney!
whut kinds of things can i use to do this? one of my friends used heat resistand chrome paint and those came out pretty good...is thata good idea? or are there better ways? thanks

dont' use paint. :-) I sanded mine then polished with a buffing wheel. go here and read the tutorial on polishing your plenum. http://www.gmtips.com/3rd-degree/dox/tips/tips.htm
