86 bird TPI found
Today looking thorugh the classifieds I stumbled upon a 86 Trans Am. I was like hmm maybe a TPI motor, I called the guy up and he told me TPI. I was like my goodness, I want and checked it out and the motor runs awesome. The only problem with the car is the body really with some surface rust, and needs new seats. And it needs a TA nose. Currently it gots a POS firebird front end because the chick who had it before messed the old TA one up. ALso it needs new rims, it gots black ones up front and IROC rims on the back. Well I already got 15inchers in my garage from a firebird so thats not a problem. The rest of the car aint bad for $650. I couldn't belive how strong the motors was too. Also the doors will need to be replaced cause there dented a little. But it gots the ground effects, TA Taillights and spoiler and TA hood, and also brand new 700r4 tranny auto. Also the car is factory grey, which I belive is pretty rare on a TA. What you guys think, should I take it. Insurance should not be a problem since the car is older than 15 years old too.

Knowing what Rochester does to cars, I'm guessing that it's got to have a ton of rust. Make sure you look underneath it. If it's got anything more than surface rust, forget about it. If the floors or radiator support are starting to rot, the car is a time bomb.
