What upgrades should I get

I have an 89 GTA, 5.7 with a K&N filter. Other than that it is pretty much stock. Right now I have about $500 that my wife will let me spend on the car that she thinks is the ugliest thing, what a tard. Anyways, I wanted to get some input on the best mods for the 350 TPI.

Buy some tools, do free mods, set timing, shift kit for your automatic, upgrade ignition...and buy your wife something with all the money you have left over.

Read tech articles on this topic too.

Heh sorry to hear that man! I would go with a set of headders (Hooker namely) for about $300, and AFPR ($50 or make your own) and maybe a cat-back... you should get the best bang for your buck. Dont waste your money on a "performance chip".

LittleGTA... Good idea about buying the wife somethin with the left over money!

Do "free" mods

headman headers ($104.99) and y-pipe($98.99) thru Jegs. Cat back ($230-320). And gut cat or replace it with a staight pipe.

Aproximatly 20 to 40 horse gain and 3 tenths in 1/4
