5.7 TPI Fuel Injector
5.7 TPI Fuel Injector
Hello,
i'm from Brazil (i would like to apologize for a possible language mistake) and own a 1988 IROC-Z 5.7 TPI. Last week, the car was running pretty bad. I took it to the shop and got the fuel injectors out to cleaning. After that, i found out i need replace one injector. Here is my question: after consult CAR PARTS website, i realize many injectors types and brands. but, i don't know which one will work on my car. Can you suggest something (a brand or type)?
will a 305 injector work on my car? Where can i buy it thru the internet?
Thank you,
Breno.

If you need to replace a few, you should replace them all. Otherwise, they arent matched. I think 350's came with 22# injectors, but many people are running 24# injectors. I havent done this yet to my car, but I will need to this summer, and I plan on getting the Accel 24# injectors from summit. Their site is www.summitracing.com. Otherwise try www.jegs.com. The Accel injectors are something like $230.00.
