Stupid and quick AFPR question

stupid question.....On a adjustable fuel pressure regulator do you turn counter-clockwise or clockwise to lean it out?

Lefty loosey, righty tighty! Didint your momma ever tell ya that?

Counter clock wise to lower pressure (lean it), and clock wise to raise pressure.

screw it In to increase the pressure, Out to lower. Assuming it is standard threads, screwing it clockwise will raise it, counterclockwise will lower it. Hope this helps.

how much of a turn does it need to lower it one pound of pressure...just messing around without a fuel pressure gauge.

If you swapped to an AFPR w/o a FP guage, consider yourself up a creek w/o a paddle. Now you have absolutely no idea where your FP is, and there is nothing you can do to rememedy that except for get a guage on it.
There is no set amount of turns that will raise / lower it a certain amount either. That would enturely be determined by the thread pitch on the adjusting screw, and the spring constant. So even if you had a scan tool and knew how far from correct your BLMS were, you still couldn't adjust the FP to compensate accurately.

In other words, get yourself a fuel pressure guage, and in eth meantime i'd keep the FPR on the low side. Just don't do a lot of WOT to risk being too lean. This way at least you'll know you're not running 60psi constantly and burning out your fuel pump.
