Match Porting with TPIS Large tube gasket set ?

I'm in the process of match porting my TPI intake and I wanted to see what some of you have done

First off I have SLP runners and a Edelbrock Base plate
I bought a set of TPIS large tube gaskets

When I went to start on the runners and plenum I didn't really think the gaskets were THAT big but, ... they are much larger then I thought ...they are probly 3-4 /16 of an inch larger than the SLP's as well

I guess my question is did you Go ahead and port the plenum and runners to match the new large tube gasket set?

BTW I will be running a ATI with 10-12 lbs that why I say it might be too big

What do you think?....Any Pic's or you plenum you have done would be cool as well

Thanks for any of your thoughts

I'd open up the runners as much as seemed reasonable. If they have the meat to fully match them to the gasket, then go for it if you have to time. Make it a nice smoothed entry. Then open up the plenum to match that.
