How do you swap a HEI dist to a smaller 87+ one?

I picked up a 89 TBI dist for $20 w/ the coil and was thinking about swapping it for my HEI one. I don't have any of the pig tails coming off the dist, though. Is it just a direct cut and match the colors from the HEI plug to the smaller dist or is there more to it than that?

Car: 1997 Jeep Wrangler
Engine: 4.0L
Transmission: 5 speed
Axle/Gears: 8.8 rear, 4.56 gears, 4:1 transfer
Direct cut and match. All the colors are the same.

Thanks, I still need the pigtail that plugs into the five pin side of the modual. Do you know of any place I can get one for a reasonable price ?

Also, On the coil there's 2 places to plug the red/yellow plug that goes to the distributor. I assume these are for the tach/bat and that I need to plug the tach/bat to one side and the other goes to the dist. correct? Some times you just need to see things for youself (too bad I don't know anyone with one).
