Hey TRAXION, I noticed that the miniram has an opening between the runners under the plenum in the back. Does that continue all the way to the front of the intake? Kind of like an Edelbrock air gap intake?

Thanks

Trax - Do you have the dimensions you used to block off your A/C holes in the firewall? It looks really clean and my s/s plate just isn't cutting it for me.

The opening goes all the way through exactly like an 'air gap intake'.

Sorry, I don't. I gave a buddy my entire AC box and asked him to trace it on some 1/16" aluminum plate and then cut it out. That's what he did. I then painted it black because it was too darn shiny Eventually I will have it painted the same color as the engine bay.

Did you fail english? ;-) j/k

Available from TPIS for around $900. You need to buy at least their base fuel rail kit which means another $250. You don't need a new computer but a custom computer chip is somewhat necessary ... especially for the pre '89 cars.

That's a good idea. I can trace something off the A/C components. I have two stainless steel plates there right now, just something to cover the firewall so I can pass tech at the track.

If you want to match the paint pretty close, I bought a can of Duplicolor 1200 degree paint in "Red" and you can't even tell there's a plate there. I also have a 1990 Bright Red Iroc, so our paint should be about the same. =)

I actually bought the hard-line install kit that was suppose to be made for the F-Body. IMHO it was a joke. The lines were kinked pretty darn bad from the bends they had to put in them. Furthermore, there was not enough room for me to connect it all up because the IAC/TPS was in the way. I still have them laying around in a junk pile somewhere.

Trax,
I like those valve covers, are they Moroso? j/k
How much taller are they than stock centerbolts? I need an extra half inch clearance or so, and they look nice.
