Rich restart

When I restart my car after it's already been warmed up, it almost always runs really rough. It runs so rich that black smoke usually pours out the pipes. Yet if I shut it off and wait for 15-30 seconds, it will start and run just fine.
I've had the problem for a while, and it did it ALL the time until I redid the wiring to the MAF relays (both connectors trashed).
Anybody got any ideas?

If it cranks longer on a warm restart than when cold suspect the injectors. On a warm restart, hold the accelerator full down for a minute before starting to see if it partially clears excess fuel.

Try cleaning the TB bore & plates and maybe the IAC for the rough idle. Could be some carbon build up.

It doesn't crank any longer...it almost always fires right up. It used to load up so bad that I had to hold the gas pedal to the floor to clear it, but since I got some of the wiring worked out, it's stopped.
I've been reluctant to take the induction apart. Partly cause it's my daily driver, partly cause I'm afraid of what other carnage I may find. Looks like I'm gonna have to dive in if I want it to get any better.
Do regular parts stores carry the TB and plenum gaskets?

I think Auto Zone carries a FelPro Top End gasket set that includes those but check the contents of the set.
