No, it is a complete waste of money. If you want to bring in WOT sooner you can set it in the chip, but even if you do, there is no 'performance' gain. WOT is still just WOT.
This subject has been beaten to death both here and in the PROM board in the past if you want to do some more reading as to why it is such a bad idea to 'fool' sensor signals to the ECM.

i purchased this enhancer from TPIS, and im not really happy with it. i used to get 1.9 sec 60fts in the vette, but after i installed the enhancer, alls i get is wheelspin. it sends to much voltage input to the ECM to early, resulting in my tires spinning at launch. im pretty sure my tire spinning problems are because of this unit, because when i remove it, i dont spin nearly as much. maybe if i had drag radials i could test it further, but for now, im ditching it. Heres another side of the arguement, though. Corvette Fever magazine dyno tested this peice on a stock 84' Crossfire Vette and came up with about a 10hp increase. this was only recorded on the extreme top and bottom of the power curve, however. the midrange actually lost a few hp.

Any kind of gain would have to be because of a bad adjustment or sensor or something. To the ECM there is no difference in what it does past a certain %TPS (which is when it enables PE) This value is pretty muich never higher than 70% for anything, which is well below WOT for any working TPS. Even the pump shot table, as mysterious as it is, only has a 50% TPS range in it.
