Flexplates and 700R4s

Do 14 inch flexplates fit in 700R4 bellhousings ? I'm ordering a 400 flexplate from Jegs that's 14 inches in diameter and drilled to accept a 700R4 converter.

yes. They usually cam in trucks and vans. You'll need a starter for a truck or van due to the diameter difference. Try a 1985 chevy van G20 with a 350 or 305 or some other later year van with a V8.

One might expect a flexplate drilled for a 700 converter to fit in a 700 bellhousing :lala:
