700r4 shifts to soon

i was wondering if there was anything i could do to make it shift a little later. and the tv cable is adjusted right.Can i put different springs in the governor to make it shift later??

Axle/Gears: Moser 9"/4.11 Trac-Lok
You can change the weights & springs on the governor. This will alter part & WOT shift points. There is a kit available from PATC & other trans shops.

Is it the lighter the springs in the governor the sooner it shifts??

yuo can move the t/v cable back some and that will make it shift later.

If i move the T.V. cable back it just will ratchet back out.I just keep the T.V. cable adjusted like transfixleo says too.

Lighter springs will make part throttle 1-2 shift points later.
