Torque Converter?

How hard is it to change and can 1 person do it?Thanks for any help.

Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
The engine and tranny have to come apart. So, either pull the engine or drop the tranny (or both, split them while out).

If you drop the tranny, you either need a lift or a way to get all four corners a good 2' off the floor. Buy, rent, or borrow a real tranny jack - don't even try this with a floor jack (unless it has a tranny adapter - will require raising the car even farther).

Is there an auto craft shop on base? If so, I'd think they'd have the tools and facilities to do this.
