I need a flywheel and clutch
I am getting ready to install my new engine into my 92. The car is original down to the fading paint! THe stocker is a 305/T5 combo. I am installing a 383cid (internal balance) with the block being of the old stlye rear main oil seal. The block is a 1980 core. I would like to retain my T5 until i can get up enough money for a T56 or a Tremec.
I am hoping some of you can advise me to what flywheel i need.
I have heard somewhere that a flywheel/clutch assembly from or for a 82-85 camaro will work with the 92 trans. Is this correct? If not can anyone steer me to the correct combination. Thank you.

All you need is a 153 tooth (12-3/4") flywheel for a two piece rear main. Your stock 92 clutch will work fine or you can upgrade to an aftermarket performance clutch.
It's that easy.
It's that easy.
