Hi, My 83 Z28 305,came with a 200c 3 speed tranny,governed by a TV cable. I have put in 700R4 tranny. I hooked up the TV cable that was on the car,and it seems to shift good. I put a pressure guage on the tranny , following the instructions from bow tie overdrives. and i get 65 lbs pressure at idle. If you increase the rpm slightly,the pressure stays at 65 . If you goose the throttle,it shoots up to 180 or better. Are these good and suitable pressures,or does adjustment need to be made?? Thanks Bob....
